The Hat Museum gives a very special attention to the needs of the families.

Groups
The Hat Museum has special ticket prices for groups over 10 people with pre-booked visit. Depending on the specific nature of the groups (age and pedagogical interests) we organize guided tours and educational workshops. Know more about the different visits and workshops that we have available in the Educational Service.
Thematic visit
In addition to the regular visits, groups can choose thematic visits with specific educational and cultural interests. As important pedagogical instruments, these visits were created thinking in school groups but anyone can book them.
Resident workshops
To complement the experience of the visits to the exhibitions, the Museum has a set of workshops that are available throughout the year.
In parallel, on festive periods (Carnival, Easter, Christmas, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Children’s Day, etc.) or for exploring the temporary exhibition contents, the museum has many other workshops available for you.
Accessibilities
All areas of the museum are accessible to people with reduced mobility, including parking spaces outside the museum. The Museum has adapted toilets.
We offer wheelchairs for loan.
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Admission is free for people with a disability equal to or greater than 60%; the accompanying person will have free entry when essential to the visit to the Museum. Gratuity also applies to guided visits to the Museum.

Celebrate your birthday at the Hat Museum. On this very special day we have prepared, just for you, an amazing party! For you and your friends we have delicious snacks, many fun activities, humorous games and special visits to the Museum.
Coffee shop and restaurant
The O Boinas restaurant offers visitors to the Chapelaria Museum a complete gastronomic experience, combining traditional Portuguese dishes with carefully selected regional flavors. With a welcoming and elegant atmosphere, it's the ideal space for relaxing moments, family gatherings, or memorable lunches and dinners.
Virtual Tours
The Chapelaria Museum offers a free virtual tour of its spaces, a new cultural and educational tool that gives visitors the opportunity to explore the museum's exhibition content in an autonomous, dynamic, and interactive way.
